Hi, I'm currently looking for an Atmel 27C128 and a 27C64, and I can't find any! I just bought a cart with the appropriate size, so I could put my game on it, and I can't find the right chips! Any suggestions on where to find these? It also doesn't have to be Atmel, but I'd prefer Atmel. Please respond, if you know where I could find some. Thanks!

Oh, I've been looking, and I found some that I purchased. I'd willingly go down to those links and buy those, but the card I'm using is anti-paypal-compatible. So that put's a caution tape around a TON of online areas. It really makes me mad though! I don't know why it doesn't work. I have to check something, I'll be right back.
EDIT: Oh cool! Dude! Awesome! I just some how added my card successfully to my account! Yes! I'm going to go buy a ton of stuff now!
I've found it's easier and cheaper to buy the 27C256 or 27C512. I just take the prg or chr rom information and double it or quadruple it to fill the entire chip using a hexedit program. I also disable the extra address lines on the devcart so I can use any size EPROM.
found some old or damaged computers motherboards (386/486)
and romove BIOS chips from it (27c256/27c512 eproms)
I've found the appropriate chips, and it's all good. They'll be arriving sometime early next week. I hope the cart that I got isn't a glob top, I'd be relatively angry. Well, it was only like 8 dollars total, including shipping/handling. And the chips together were like 10 or 11 dollars, I don't know. Really not that expensive though. Yeah, I attempted to put my game on an SMB1/Duck Hunt cart once more, and I realized it didn't work again. So I tried taking out my chips and putting the mask roms back in, to see if it was the chips. Well, I didn't exactly get that far. When I pulled out my PRG EPROM, there were still pins in board that got ripped off the chip, and there was a frickin' I/O line that ripped off stuck from one pin to the pin across and a couple over. When I saw that I/O line that got ripped off, I said, "Yep. I just broke it." And I threw the cart in my may-be-useful-later-for-whatever-reason junkpile. That was dumb. Well, I realized that I was using weird memory sizes, and I probably programmed the chip wrong.

You know, you don't
have to ramble on and on like that every time you post - sometimes it's best to just keep it short and simple.
Okay? Sorry? I wouldn't really say I was rambling in that post. I guess I'll just write an emotionless, two sentence post with bad grammer and no caps from now on, like everyone likes it.
EDIT: Okay, maybe I did ramble a bit, but it's not that bad, just trying to make a little bit of a conversation... That's all.
Oh man, ramble all you want. It doesn't take much to roll your eyeballs down a couple inches to bypass the rambling post.
I'm sorry, I am sort of confused. Are you insulting me or giving me a pat on the back?
LOL!!
Celius you do ramble quite a bit. It's not a big deal but kind of tiresome. Don't worry about it too much . I think Quietust (and others) were just tired of the "Well, so then I decided because of.. I should.. so I did..", "But it doesn't matter, 'cause then this happened..", kind of phrasing. Kind of pointless filler.
Grammar is spelt with an 'A'.
Edit: fixed typo (grammar).
No insults, there are no rules against rambling on in a post.
Celius: I don't think he/she was insulting you. However, please spell grammar the correct way. Thank you.
Oh. I feel really dumb for spelling grammar wrong. I'm done talking. No more posting.
eprom burner + eprom is a package??? or you buy eprom burner on another places??

Seperate places normally. Unless the burner dealer has a good price on eproms, which usually isn't the case. Assuming you want more than 1 or 2.
Use flashrom instead though, even if you have access to an EPROM eraser (or a lab with one) they're annoying to use if you want to rewrite them often.
nes machine read EPROMS from nes catridge, it read EEPROMS, too???
i think punch out is eeprom, then nes catridge accept flash rom (special type of eeprom??)..
