I have been able to get hold of a family computer pirate cartridge(60 pin) recently. This is supposed to run on one of the Famiclones.
The cartridge pinout looks very different from the usual original NES/Famicom cartridge. Though there are 60 slots on the edge of the cartridge, not all of them are used. I could count only 19 of the slots connected to the ROM which is perhaps located inside a black epoxy towards the centre of the cart.
A number of slots on the cart seem to be connected to nothing but are lying there for some reason.
I am wondering how this cart communicates with the famiclone? Any ideas??
