I have my NES UART working, with a simple ROM monitor (similar to Woz's Apple 1 monitor).

Yes, I can upload/download code (but only $200 to $800 is useable), as well as read/write to PPU and other various registers in real time on real hardware (duh).
I got side tracked from my original goal of using the UART for MIDI (which I still want to do, but I might want to add another UART for debugging, unless someone wants to add a UART emulation to their emulator! hint hint!).
