Does anyone know of a Famiclone that comes with NES-style D-cannon controller connectors (4 pins on one side, 3 on the other, like so):
Code:

| o \
| o o |
| o o |
| o o |

Behold my ASCII art
There is a version of the NeoFami that has those controller connectors AND a 72-pin cart slot, so you don't need a cart adapter or controller adapters. It is called by many names such as "Yobo", "USA Version FC", and many other names. There is one incompatibility with the controller ports though. They are not aligned as they are on a real NES, so some peripherials that plug directly into both ports at the same time do not fit. Also, the clone's NES on a Chip has poor audio, video, inaccurate colors, sound, and also has game compatibility issues with a few games.
If you are tried of a blinky NES, then consider buying a professionally refurbished NES. They cost about the same, but they have perfect game and peripherial compatibility. Oh and the original NES looks really cool too
