There's the .pdf. I've been meaning to do this for a very long time. After many folks saying there was no real scientific way to retune the FDS's drive head, I refused to accept that. This method has worked for me on every drive I tested it on.
Mods, if you feel this should go in another section, feel free. I just felt that since this seems to be a common topic of discussion in many forums, that it would be seen by more eyes and help more people here. That, and every FDS owner will eventually have to deal with this and there has never really been any help out there for it. Of course, if you think more eyes will see it elsewhere, go ahead and move it or even put it on the nesdev frontpage.
