Can you log in first? If people knew the importance of your project, they would surely help.

Tell me how I can open the case without breaking it and I will.

Do they have those GameBit (inside-out-Torx) screws used on most NES (UE) and SFC/SNES carts? If so, you can wind those out with a small metal tool (and replace them with Philips when you're done), you can file down the middle of a standard (flat head) screwdriver, or you can purchase a GameBit (they come in two sizes; get the smaller one) for your screwdriver.

Or do they look like they snap shut? In that case, someone else can help you find where to squeeze the case to release the snaps.

Most Famicom games I've seen (or have), all snap open and closed. You basically have to pry them apart, without breaking the little clips off inside. Sometimes they put the label over the seams, so you have to peel it back.

I opened a Mindseeker cart once(rather forcefully), and discovered that there was some kind of screw or adhesive in the center, in addition to the snaps, which would make non-destructive openings impossible.

A screw in the center would possibly be behind a label. I seem to recall a Tengen (or Color Dreams?) cart putting its rear warning label over a screw so as to provide a bit of evidence of tampering.

Tengen, AVE and Wisdom Tree/Color Dreams all hid a screw behind the caution sticker.

Pretty sure there's no screw.
