Hello Guys. I'm new here, so please be patient with me. And you know... sorry for bad english
I got a NES Toploader and it worked flawlessly but the picture quality was'nt the best on my HDTV. So I bought a NES recap kit and soldered it in. Picture was slighty better but far away from perfect. So I finally bought the NESRGB.
While waiting for the package from Australia I thought about adding more features to my NES and decided to do the following:
1) Removing the RF-Box. After installing the NESRGB it will be unnecessary for me.
2) And if I remove the RF-Box i have to do add a "new" PSU. So I placed a universal PCB with a 5 Volt AC/DC-Module on it into the NES.
3) And I also wanted to do the Stereo Mod
4) I don't like Tims Scart plug so I decided to add a Scart socket into the NES case.
So here's the problem: I did all mods at once without testing it in between. But i learned from this mistake. At least i hope so...
Nevertheless my NES isn't working. No Picture, no sound. Only the Power-LED is on.
I'm pretty shure that i didn't made mistakes while wiring. But I'm afraid that I heated the ppu too much up while desoldering. Could this be the problem? What can i do for further troubleshooting?
I hope that somebody can help me.
Regards
