Ah yes, this would be appreciated. I think knurek has been converting most of my NSFEs to m3u for me (I've been making a bunch), but I was still interesting in checking it out. 
m3u is supposed to work with which nsf players / plugins again? It doesn't seem to work with standalone nsfplay or nezplug++. I take it I'm supposed to use their winamp plugins? I kind of like keeping those standalone and using notso as my plugin.

Yes. M3U's work with the winamp plugin of nezplug++ (I don't know about the others).
If you want, you can use both as plugins in winamp, and then switch between them from the nezplug++ config (although, you must restart winamp each time). Or you can have nezplug for all the NSF's and NotSo for the NSFE's (as nezplug doesn't support NSFE's).
Another alternative would be to use another winamp plugin compatible player, like XMPlay for nezplug.
