When I play a song in this version of Famitracker, it's going to stutter and eventually stop itself even tho the program indicates it's still on play. I also tried several buffer rates -> nope. :(

Famitracker is the apex of human technology!

Hyperbolic ok - but I am flying, being able to select multiple channels at once has sped up tracking by like 500%.

Famitracker's great but how do you insert a mute or rest?

I thought the quote was "IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO START A NEW ONE".

...always ?

Definitely not else there would only be 1 thread and it would SUCK.

The sample that comes with Famitracker has these bars in the channels to rest the sound, kinda like the "off" in nerdtracker. The doc doesn't say how to insert them. And CnP doesn't work on them (bug?). Cxx just kills the song and none of the other effects are a workaround except volume which can't be used in triangle.

I even tried figuring it out the brute force way. No luck.

I think the default key assigned to it doesn't work due to a bug.

In Configuration > General, look for the "Note Cut" key. If it doesn't work, change it to something else.

d'oh - that's what I get for not checking the readme. When do you ever have to read that?
