I had this posted at Famitracker's site, but I thought I'd mention it here too. I've been doing up several NSF versions of the MM9 music. It's a combined file with the songs.
The thread about it:
http://famitracker.shoodot.net/forum/posts.php?id=300 - Informs about the latest file and any changes. Most of this info is at the end.
The NSF file itself
http://famitracker.shoodot.net/forum/at ... s-10-6.nsf - This file will be updated to fix errors and add songs from time to time.
Anyway, enjoy.
Great!
Thanks a lot!
Just adjust the triangle pitch down a bit, ok?
Nice job. Do you think that Capcom actually made the music with the NES APU for MM9 or that they did it some other way? I only listened to your Magma Man which sounds very close to what I remember.

More than likely, they did it in some sort of tracker, in much the same way I do my NES-style S3Ms.

Um what?
I mean the triangle channel. It's high pitched in a few tracks.

Which ones?
I posted a new NSF file that has some updates/fixes.
Nice work Sivak! Sounding pretty good
I still haven't beat this damn game...
Splash Woman's stage sounds awful! You need to take a few more tries at replicating the instruments correctly. There are lots of missing attacks.
It's sounding better with each edit, keep up the good work.
It sounds like the triangle "tom" in splash woman should cut a bit more quickly. It doesn't last as long and pitch down as far as it does in your version. Assuming the note is cutting off with with a volume setting in the sequence editor (and not just a note cut), try dropping the volume to zero a couple steps sooner. I think this is true for most tracks, like plug man as well.

The file was deleted.
Apparently, Sivak's direct link to the file doesn't work, but you can click on the attachment download in the
forum post. They link to the same URL but the attachment link will work.
I heard Capcom just used OST instuments to make MM9 music sound 8-bit and never was planned to be NSF, converted to actual Mp3, OOG, etc because that the technology was too old to be supported properly.
Sorry, I'm slow. What's OST?

Oh sorry. I meant to say VST instead of OST. I got a little confused
