Ideas for powerpack NSF player

My idea is to play them like virtuaNES does with the exact style with the keyboard and everything. And about the expansions well don't display them but instead display track/track and the controls are simple A=advance track, B=previous track<=disable triangle, >=disable PCM, UP=disable wave 1, Down=disable wave 2, Start=Start/pause, Select=disable noise, and reset brings you to the NSF menu while power brings you to the main menu. There are no volume nor speed controllers as of yet.

In order to disable channels or run visualization when playing NSF directly on 2A03 hardware, the program would have to patch all writes to $4000-$4017 with calls to vis code in the player. Speed control would probably be easier.

It's still possible to do these things right?
