list of games that used sound expansion? (FDS included)

edit 2: making this google-able!
famicom sound expansion games
nes games with sound expansion
FDS, VRC6, VRC7, FME-7, SUNSOFT 5B, MMC5, N106, N163

I'm trying to compile a list of sound expansion soundtracks. Games that not only have sound expansion, but games that actually put the sound expansion to use in the music.

Does this exist somewhere? Sometime last year I tried compiling a definitive list of sorts. Mainly because I would've liked to see an easily browsable and complete list, but I wasn't able to find any at the time.

Here's what I came up with:

Sunsoft 5B (variant of FME-7)
Gimmick!

MMC5
Just Breed
Metal Slader Glory
Shin 4-Nin Uchi Mahjong

N106 (or N163... there's some debate about the terminology)
Erika to Satoru no Yumebouken
Final Lap
King of Kings
Mappy Kids
Megami Tensei 2
Rolling Thunder
Sangokushi 2 - Haou no Tairiku

VRC6
Akumajou Densetsu (Castlevania 3)
Esper Dream 2
Madara

VRC7
Lagrange Point

FDS (possibly incomplete)
Ai Senshi Nicol
Arumana no Kiseki
Backgammon
Big Challenge! Dogfight Spirit
Big Challenge! Go! Go! Bowling
Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa
Cleopatra no Mahou
Dracula II (Castlevania 2)
Exciting Baseball
Exciting Basketball
Exciting Billiard
Exciting Soccer
Falsion
Famicom Grand Prix 2 - 3D Hot Rally
Famicom Tantei Club Part II
Fire Bam
Ginga Densgou - Galaxy Odyssey
Golf Japan Course
Golf U.S. Course
Gyruss
Hao Kun no Fushigina Tabi
Hong Kong
KiKi KaiKai
Knight Move
Link no Bouken (Zelda 2)
Meikyuu Jiin Dababa
Metroid
Nakayama Miho no Tokimeki High School
Nazo No Murasamejou
Risa no Yousei Densetsu
Shin Onigashima
Suishi No Ryuu
Super Mario Bros Vs
Time Twist
Tobidase Daisukusen (3D World Runner)
Vs. Excitebike
Yume KooJoo Doki Doki Panic (Super Mario Bros 2, original)
Yuushi no Monshou
Yuuyuuki
Zelda no Densetsu (Zelda)

The most time consuming part in doing this was differentiating FDS games from FDS soundtracks. The idea behind making the list is picking any one of these soundtracks at whim and being able to hear the use of additional sounds in the music. I think I drew the line to not include nsfs that included the extra channel in sfx, but not in any music tracks. But I was willing to include sountracks that used it at least once, if even only briefly, in at least one tune.

I'm basing this off of games that have nsfs ripped for them already. My FDS list is probably a bit outdated. Let me know if I've missed anything or included anything I shouldn't have.

Doesn't Miracle Piano (for NES) use expansion sound through the controller port?

Good call. Haha, I wouldn't even know what to call that.
There's no way of listening to that emulated, is there?

It'd be interesting to see somebody hack however miracle piano triggered the keyboard through the controller port and use the NES as a sequencer/trigger device. I think that would be totally insane and backwords, but sweet nonetheless.

I could rip some miracle piano audio samples if anyone wanted to hear them.

An emulator could translate MIDI data sent over the controller port into MIDI messages to be played back by the operating system's synthesizer, right? Then you could use actual MIDI controller and synth hardware if your MIDI mapper is set up this way.

Don't forget Gyruss for the FDS.

I'm way late on getting back to my own thread, but thanks for noticing the lack of gyruss! Added to ze list.
