I wanted to know exactly what notes would I need for a full scale of an instrument.
Like one sample is set to note C, and I want it to resample the wav to make other DMC files, so I can have a whole scale, since DPMC channel skips some notes when resampling.
Four consecutive semitones (e.g. C, C#, D, D#) should let you scale nearly three octaves. But if you know what key your song is in, you can plan your work to use fewer samples. If you're using 81, you can use oversample factors 100, 106, 112, and 119 percent to create these samples.
Thank you tepples, btw nice YTMND sites.
Sunsoft's games used 5 samples, each one half-step away from each other.

Would Fester's quest come in to play?
Festers quest only used 4.
Using 4 samples gives you 35 straight semitones, from C-1 to A#3, plus C-4 to D-4. Using a fifth just adds B-3 and E-4.
