Need help with .nsf
by on (#111530)
Okay, so a couple of days ago a friend introduced me to famitracker. Wanting to learn how to make covers I went to youtube and looked up a guide. After a suggestion to download virtuansf I did so and began my search for nsf files. I quickly found http://www.zophar.net/music.html and http://akumunsf.good-evil.net/ and downloaded stuff that I wanted to try and cover. However, the files are in .gbs format instead of .nsf so my computer can't open the files.

Pretty much if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong and or missing that would be great, because basically I'm noob that has no idea what they're doing.

GBS files are Gameboy. Go here: http://www.zophar.net/music/nsf

If you want to play Gameboy music, though, there's NEZPlay (can't find the link :x) & Audio Overload (which covers a wide variety of formats, including SPC, VGM, GSF, PSF, HES, the list goes on).
