I've gotten FCEUX and Nestopia to compile and run natively in linux so far, and they both run pretty well, but I was a little surprised to find that neither of them seem to have an (exposed?) option to turn on vsync. I would expect that SDL has an easy way to use vsync, so I'm a bit surprised these emulators do not use it. Does anyone know of an emulator that runs on linux and uses vsync? It's not terribly important to me long term because nearly 100% of my playing time is on a real NES. But I still want to know why, I'm sure I've seen plenty of other apps that use vsync in linux. Maybe the guys who ported these emulators just did what was necessary to get it ported and working (not an easy task, I realize!).
