GBA dumpers are ridiculously easy to find and use, especially compared to NES dumpers. First buy an authentic copy of the game, and then follow one of these paths:
- Buy a GBA or GBA SP.
- Buy a USB to GBA cable from one of the sites that sells GBA flash cards.
- Insert the Game Pak in the slot and start the GBA in multiboot mode (hold Start+Select to make the Nintendo logo disappear).
- Using the linker, copy the cartridge to the PC.
- Play game in
VBA mGBA or NO$GBA.
There's another way to do this that doesn't involve a GBA but does require you to live in a country where Nintendo hasn't
cracked down on DS flash cards:
- Buy a DS or DS Lite.
- Buy a DS flash card adapter that takes microSD cards.
- Load FAT Dump 2 on a microSD card, patch it with DLDI if needed, and insert it into SLOT-1.
- Insert the Game Pak in SLOT-2 and start the DS.
- Run FAT Dump 2.
- Copy ROM from the microSD card and play game in
VBA mGBA or NO$GBA.
