Howdy!
I'm Mike, Canadian Hero and all-around great guy.
I've worked with emulators for atleast ten years, although by "worked with" I mean "played Mario on".
I like the idea of burning back to a cartridge, through the use of EPROM transplantation or a path more elegant.
I like the idea of playing those Super Mario challenge levels on an actual NES... Giggidy!
So that being said, I look forward to creative ideas and interesting conversation while I'm here pursuing my goals!
Peace and piece brothers

I have discovered a sidebranch of my research will concluded as infeasible. This is an acceptable loss as it was not necessary for my final goals.
Research will continue in the departments of EPROM programming and chipset modification.

I have taken apart a malfunctioning NES console today. It displays grey screen at startup. From my inspection it appears as if the 72pin Connector is the problem, be it needing more thorough cleaning or replacement remains to be seen.
Regardless, I have other plans for this case.

With respect, get a blog.
^^gonna have to agree on that.
One tip: When people suggest "get a blog", they mean it.
Another user failed to heed advice.
Never fear kids, this was never meant as a blog, for other people have the opportunity to post on here. I was intending on answering questions and whatnot, but none have been asked.
I'm still gonna post updates on my progress, but I'll limit the frequency between as to only when there's updates on my releases.
Seems fair to me.

In that case people will label your post as a blog and you could be banned. I think you shouldn't take that route unless you bring something constructive to an existing topic or start a topic that people contribute to it.
Please Mike. Don't make me ashamed to be Canadian, ok?
Use common sense.
Sorry abouts these guys Mike. None of us mean to be/seem rude. I do recommend a blog though.
Quick recap:
blog - asymmetrical relation where you write about things, and others might comment, but you're center-stage.
forum - symmetrical relation where you discuss things with others, with multiple taking turns at saying things in response to previous things.
It's okay. I've been on the IRC Channel and seen the treatment people get there as well. It matters not! There may be a couple grumpies but I'm determined to give this forum an injection of hot Canadian happiness.
People's more productive when's they is smilin's!
Ps, anyone ever gone to medieval times? I'm going tommorow with the woman. Never been before...
