I have recently created a Flash version of the Atari 2600 game "Adventure", mainly based on the 6502 disassembly of the original rom. This flash version is ridiculously faithful, I've played it side by side with Stella using the same input.
On my website (Wii Remote compatible):

Excellent... awesome work. ^_^
You should think about a next game, perhaps Pitfall?
Wow, even the flickering is there! =)
That dragon still looks like a duck to me...

Absolutely. Can't forget about room 0x15.
This has to be the most accurate flash port I've ever seen!
Yes, quite cool. Go into a wall and you jiggle like the real thing. Would be cool if some tools were written to help automate future asm->flash conversions like this.
You should have provided a health and safety warning for that green crap that follows you even trough screens, I almost made a hearth attack when I noticed this thing were following me everywhere, forcing me to eventually quit the game.
Piping hot. Definitely one of the coolest swfs i've seen.
Any chance at releasing the flash-side code?
I've posted the source. It took somewhat an object-oriented design, but it really takes advantage of the only way to do references in flash: movie clips.
Bug or not?
I see nothing unusual about that screenshot.
I've only played the game a bit on the atari, so wouldn't know, just thought it odd (also, it was flashing). Still not sure of the point of the game, guess it's just find keys, unlock castle, avoid dragon (well, looks more like a duck to me...)
Scroll Down. I added a nice long description of the game and how to play.
lol, "it was flashing"! Sorry, couldn't help it!
Due to a DMCA takedown notice from Infogrames Entertainment, SA (now called Atari, SA), the game has been taken down from my website.
In other words, they forced you to take it down.
I never played "Adventure" but I read an article about it once. It's first adventure game ever made, right?
I'll try it tomorrow, I'm sleepy..
Seems reasonable, they're releasing all their older games on Chrome's App market. :/ Just played, pretty sweet!
