Hi,
I think now it's time when I need your help in choosing new music for myself. My favourite artsists are:
Un Nuevo Dia
La Mort
Butterflies
Frankie J is on the top of my list, because in my opinion this performer creates the greatest compositions.
Daft Punk, bacause they have original sounds and extraordinary tones... and they give an unuasual power.
Um, this subforum is more geared towards NES music; this thread would fit better in "General Stuff."
However, here are a few of my favorites:
* The Beatles
Of course, they're worthy of note because they're one of the most influential bands ever, but in my opinion they're also worth listening to because they're really good. Good albums to start with are A Hard Day's Night, Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Abbey Road.
* Pink Floyd
A widely-varied British rock band from the 70s, they have a couple well-known albums, The Wall and The Dark Side Of The Moon, both of which are worth getting. Friends tell me that their other albums are better, though.
* ABBA
If you're into guilty-pleasure music, ABBA is pretty much the definition of "cheesy," but there's something inexplicably catchy about silly Swedish pop from the 70s. Just grab one of the collection albums.
Moved from NES Music to General Stuff
If you can dig on video game soundtracks -- I highly recommend digging up a copy of the soundtrack to
Napple Tale (Dreamcast) (soundtrack spans two CDs).
I give it three thumbs up.
Is this thread for real?!?!
