My friend has been showing me how to repair Super Famicoms and he showed me how to fix video problems (such as the video waving across the screen and slowly moving upward on the screen) by replacing the 4 video caps that are clustered on the back of the board.
I was wondering if anyone knows exactly what these 4 video caps do (or how video caps work in general) and if there are any good wiring diagrams to illustrate this?
I understand that capacitors collect and then release a charge all at once, but I do not understand how they are used for video.
Thanks in advance!
