That's pretty cool knowledge! Thanks for sharing!!
I think I'm becoming older and lazier...
A while ago I would just buy the game than try to do something with it later.
I think this board will really need to be stripped, cleaned, tested and reassembled.
I've got a somewhat incomplete list of 8mbit games made by Sega and with SRAM save:
Code:
Aerobiz
Aerobiz: Supersonic
Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP 2
Dungeons & Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun
Exile
Gemfire
Genghis Khan 2: Clan of the Gray Wolf
NCAA Football
Operation Europe: Path to Victory 1939-45
Pirates! Gold
PTO: Pacific Theater of Operations
Romance of the Three Kingdoms II
Shining in the Darkness
Sorcerer's Kingdom
Tecmo Super Baseball
Tecmo Super Bowl
Tecmo Super Hockey
Tecmo Super NBA Basketball
TNN Bass Tournament of Champions
TNN Outdoors Bass Tournament '96
Traysia
Uncharted Waters
Wacky Worlds Creativity Studio
Warrior of Rome II
World Cup USA '94
Ys III: Wanderers from Ys
That list, summed with Koitsu assumption that's a 1991 game narrows to Ayrton Senna's game.
I'm not totally sure of most of these games release date, so it's just a kind of assumption.
Isn't the 9119 the production date?
It could mean 19th week of 1991, or not...
Is the serial number (the MPR code, right?) written somewhere inside the ROM??
Thanks guys, even if I'm not sure wich game it is, it's being very educational to me!
