Could someone explain this version played in the following video? It has external music AND sound effects AND a "READY" from Mega Man X5 for the PSX.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YP1Zd8jyQfw
It plays music from Mega Man 3 after beating a boss, and the original Mega Man X at password screen, which points me towards a "clone" ? Or maybe it's just a video that was edited to add all those features in it ?!
By the way therere's also a video with a similar version of X3, whith many elements of the PSX version but also of later games inserted in.
Seems like it's a PSX hack of Rockman 2, but I may be utterly wrong!
Maybe some people here who are fluent in japanese can get a better idea about the comments and share with us.
The comments don't really give any more info - mostly just people asking/commenting about the music.
I'm not overly familiar with the MMX releases, but maybe it's a modified version of the PS2 "Megaman X collection" or something akin? (although it does say "PSX" in the description - I haven't seen any mention of MMX2 being released on PS1, just MMX3+)
The PS2 version "Mega Man X Collection" has no improvements. No remixed music, no improved graphics... nothing.
One thing I remember that caught my attention on the PS2's MMX2 was the kind of odd sfx on the Alligator stage.
I didn't play it much to see if I found some other things that looked or sounded different to me.
Is it a port or there's an emulator behind it?
It's not an MSU1 hack or something?

Look like hack.
There is nothing official,i was play MegaMan at sony 2(original)
The original will always be better for such classic games
Nice! Was it you playing?
If so, could you please share a link or a patch?
Thanks in advance.
What about that animated "READY", from PSX versions?
Hmm it does looks like it has a very high resolution, might not be possible on a SNES. Sound-wise it's probably no problem using MSU1.
