When I use the link provided in your sig/profile, I get a DNS failure. This has held true for the last few weeks, although I know that site has worked before. There are no other major problems w/ my Internet connection that would account for this. I will also send a PM about this.
Yes, I am aware of this. My website isn't down; just the forwarding for chrismcovell.com fails sometimes.
It's weird. I just hit "reload" or the enter key with the URL a few times and eventually it finds the site. I'm talking with my friend who reserved that domain to see why it's so unreliable.
Should I edit the title of this thread?

I'm not so lucky here. Maybe my complete inability to access the site has something to do with Firefox and its (tweaked) DNS cache.
Yeah, a shame. If it continues to fail you, the URL of my homepage is really this:
http://www.disgruntleddesigner.com/chrisc/

What version of Firefox are you running? I'm running 1.5.0 (on linux) and I can see the page if I click reload (as Chris said to do) after the first error is shown.
1.5.0.4 on Windows XP Home + SP2. My ISP is AT&T DSL Service, and my firewall is part of the McAfee suite (neither of these is likely to be the problem). It always fails immediately, including on every click of Reload or Try Again. Turning off Firefox's DNS cache makes no difference.
My domain should be totally fixed now. Please try it.
