I'm not the original creator of the kazzo, I just happen to be the only person still manufacturing it AFAIK. The original anago/unagi app and firmware made by the devices' creator does support dumping carts which is what many people use it for. My primary intent to manufacture and distribute the device was to program my flash boards, so that's where my software development focus has been. I just made a related
on the now 5 year old thread that might be of interest. It's not my intent to mislead about what the device is, so I apologize if that happened to you. I can cancel your order for a full refund as we've yet to ship your order.

History:
------------------------
The kazoo device was originally designed by a nice Japanese fellow who goes
by the name 'naruko'. He open sourced his design for all to enjoy. Most
people were interested in his device for dumping NES/FC games. But
the hardware supported flashing development cartridges as well.
I started making the kazoo based on his design and added a few
features such as access to the NES expansion port, Bootloader switch,
and LED indicator. I had a few requests to make the device since
naruko had stopped producing it. The boards I made at that time
were a nice purple color. They did not have a SNES connector on them,
but are just as capable as my current version. If you have one of these
and experience troubles with my new software/firmware please contact
me so I can resolve them. (

Eventually I desired to flash cartridges with the kazoo but was met with
trouble using the anago/unagi firmware/software written for the kazzo.
Part of this was due to the small number of Japanese comments in the code,
and other parts were due to bugs I found that I was unable to resolve
myself. My solution to this was to write my own firmware and software.
I high-jacked yet another open source project called the EE-prog which
was also for the V-USB atmel library. EE-prog is by Amir Khorsandi,
Arya Mazaheri, and Seyed Amir Hashemi.
I took those open source projects and combined them together to
create my own version of a NES/Famicom/SNES flash cartridge programmer/dumper.
I refer to it as the "INL retro programmer" but it's still a kazoo
device with only added capability. You can still load the anago firmware
onto my device and dump/flash NES/FC games with it. Since the anago
software was never designed with the thought of a SNES connector it
doesn't support dumping SNES games. Although I may implement that into
my firmware/software at some point; issues due to differences in the connector
pitch and width. I also haven't implemented NES/FC dumping support
yet either. That will come sooner than SNES dumping support, I hope to
have improved methods with auto mapper detection and such. My current
focus is establishing full programming capability into my firmware/software.
