Hello everyone.
I recently came into possession of a Game Doctor SF7. A friend of mine passed away and I got a lot of his console stuff. I know for a fact that it worked, there's a floppy in it, and I watched him load a game awhile back so it should be working.
Is there any sort of PC interface on these so I can send a game from my desktop to it or anything like that?
:(At least you aren't letting his stuff go to waste.

I'm not an expert on this at all, but if there's any I'd suppose you'd need an old computer with a LPT port running DOS. Looking at what ports that thing has would be a good start.
I looked it up and apparently it uses normal 3.5" diskettes, so maybe it could be possible to just make a program that writes directly to the diskette (as long as you have such a drive).
Thanks. I was looking and there is a USB to floppy adapter out there. Do you know if it has any value to a collector? I have a wild card dx myself and I was planning on ordering an ever drive.
You might do well replacing the FDD it has with an FDD "emulator".
I was thinking that. Would someone be interested in it on the board? I'd like it to go to a good home since I'm not really using it.
So what's the value of one of these?
Currently "whatever someone will pay" is the value. These types of devices went for US$600+ in the early 90s as they were grey-market. You're welcome to put it up for sale somewhere and see who bites (most likely it'll be collectors, or hipsters who latch on to this kind of thing).
Should I list here or is there a better place?
If you want. You'll have a lot better odds of selling it by putting it up on eBay or similar services, though.
I think the idea of posting it here was to route around eBay's ban on listing game copiers.
