And what is a facehugger from Alien after Nintendo gets its hands on it?

My turn. What does any of this have to do with VC and original NES games? #gottaloveaddmoments --

For those with enough ADD to need a quick recap:
Someone is disassembling Nintendo's Metroid in order to have a basis about which to discuss differences among the FDS, NES, and Virtual Console versions of the game. Comments to such a disassembly would likely include the name of a character and a species when describing code that calculates their behavior. This person appeared confused about these names, and I gave some visual aids to help remember them.

The Facehugger and Metroid aren't the same at all. The Metroid latches on top of the head while the Facehugger goes for the face. I don't believe Nintendo got the idea from Alien. It's more like a big floating brain that sucks on your brain.
