is there a way u can use blargg's ntsc filters on fceuxd 1.0a? ive been looking all over the forums and the internet for them and i dont know if it i s supported and stuff, i know Nestopia has it, but i personally like FCEUXD 1.0a better, any help will be great, thanks!
I don't think they're in there. But they do have SVN access to the source code.
I think that the latest version of FCEUX has the NTSC filer, so maybe that will work for you? I personally like FCEUX more than FCEUXD, but since both are a little lacking in the accuracy department you shouldn't get rid of Nestopia and Nintendulator completely if you are a developer.
yea i know what u mean, but i have all of my savestates and data from fceuxd1.0a, and for some reason, fceux2.1.4a's NTSC filter is horribly disorienated and too blocky, im just trying to somehow, use NESROPIA'S NTSC filter to work with my current NES emulator, FCEUXD1.0a, there's gotta be a way to implement the filter into the emulator by some kind of code or plugin or something, cause i adore nostalgic gaming to death. that's why i love the filter on ZSNES and Kega Fusion. so if there's a possibility, let me know if anybody can, or ask blargg if he can implement the filter inro fceux or fceuxd, i would be eternally grateful.
The problem with FCEUXD is that the latest version is what, 6 years old? It's not a very accurate emulator, and has been surpassed by others that are still maintained, such as FCEUX. I doubt there is any interest in adding anything to it at this point just because a few people have savestates on it and aren't willing to switch emulators because of that. Maybe you should be looking for a way to convert your savestates instead?
yea i know how to convert my savestates and all that, but i just need someone to show me how to use Blargg's NTSC composite video filter on this emulator, oruse Nestopia's NTSC filter on my current emulator. can u help me? if possible...

I'm pretty sure you have to be a programmer to do that. AFAIK, blargg released the sources for his filters, so you'd have to grab FCEUXD's source code and put the filter in there. I can't really help you with that, because I don't know much about Windows programming myself, but I assure you it will not be a trivial task, it will require real coding.
no it's no big deal, i mean im not exactly an emulator tech either, im just one of those people that just enjoy these sort of retro style filters, i didn't think it would be that complicated to implement a filter into an emulator, boy i was wrong i guess, lol. oh well...
ssj4evil, please do not repetitively post the same topic of discussion across multiple boards. You already have this thread to discuss the matter.
