Someone on the forums has offered to sell me a PAL NES for my emulator development work. I'm wondering if someone could tell me if this would be a useful tool for writing my emulator.
I already have a working NTSC console that I've been using with the PowerPak. I'm wondering if there is anything that having a PAL NES would allow me to do that I wouldn't be able to do otherwise. I do eventually want to have PAL support in my emulator but there seems to be quite of information on the differences between PAL/NTSC online....so I'm wondering if I would actually need a PAL NES in order to get the information I need.
Can anyone suggest one way or the other if I should get a PAL NES? Are there any emulator writers out there that have one that found having both an NTSC and PAL console useful?
Pz!
