I'm trying to develop a Nes Emulator and I choose the F-8000 game to make my initials tests. My actual state is: the cpu core was implemented and I'm trying to implement some of ppu features!
ps:The following examples were made with f-8000 game.
The debugger seems to be correct!
The pattern table too!
The first filled palette!
The name table!
The F-8000 running on nester the first screen.
So I just check and it seems that until here the emulators is ok. Then I was going to the Attribute Table concept... and I guess I misunderstood it.
In the documentation they said:
each byte is for a 4x4 tile (16 tiles) group...
Well this 4x4 is: in line or like the drawing above?
MODEL 1:
4x4

or
MODEL2:
4x4
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
ps: all model is according with name table.
When I mean "in line or like the drawing" I was refering to the original docs that I've read, they say the Name Table is 32x30, with this assumption the model 1 seems to be impossible! (will leak two line) Am I rigth?
ps: after all I just wanna to know more about how works the attribute table!, anyway any tip or indication to make a better Attribute window will be welcome.
Thanks for all.
