Hi all I'm new here and I would like to learn something more about hardware and cartridges reproductions I want to tell you my first reproduction was the game of batman beta with scenes not bring the original game, and now I would like to ask you a question about game contra j, I downloaded two types of patches for this game and one of them I can not emulate with Nestopia tells me unsupported or malformed mapper, I tried another emulator as fce ultra and this has worked well I checked the specifications of this game with the nesmapper program and tells me to use a board [A (x) ROM] I wonder if I can modify the mapper?, the other patch download works fine and tells me I can use a ts-rom TS-ROM board, the difference between these two patches is the boot image, I show some pictures of the 2 patches and I would like to make the reproduction of a cartridge with the image on the left but the mapper is not supported I can make friends

You sound suspiciously like our little friend cinderglacius from a few days ago. In any case, don't expect to ''change'' any mapper anytime soon. And just a head up, people are getting really exasperated with all the repro related question these day, so just go read the wiki or something. Judging by your question, I doubt you should be trying to make reproduction, just try to buy a flash cart and save yourself the hassle. In any case, just use the patch with the board it goes with, simple as that. Whether or not the mapper is supported in your emulator is kind of irrelevant.

I do not understand what you mean friend
A lot of people join NESdev BBS and immediately ask how to make reproductions for whatever invented reason. Then the reproductions end up sold on eBay or wherever. If you want to play a game on your NES, as opposed to selling copies of Konami's work, the easiest route is the PowerPak.
I remember that someone did hack this to run on MMC3, but changed the title screen to Gryzor for whatever reason.
Actually the MMC3 hack was done on an already translated ROM. So they probably had little to nothing to do with the changed title screen.
