depends on the game.

I've noticed you've been posting a lot of questions of many different mappers. I'd be very interested to see your reproduction collection!

i also have tsb 2005, tsb 2006, transformers, circus charlie, sanrio carnival, sanrio volleyball (all need labels, just too damn lazy).
your site definitely inspired me to start making them. its just a pain desoldering the boards, i should really buy a hot air station.

Yup. Hot air station is the only way to go.

A really good soldering station will also save you a lot of time and make life easier (ask for it for Christmas.. that's how I got mine!) :)

Are those labels laminated or not?

Take a good look at the color dreams "roms" for your cart. A lot of them are actually otp eproms (eproms without the widows).

leonk-so do your laminated labels look real? Why don't you just use glossy inkjet paper?

**edit** I was going to fix my spelling, but I almost like the idea of confusing some newbie about married eproms... :)

yes, they are "laminated". i actually print out the labels on non glossy matte paper and then use packaging tape to make them waterproof. the thing is i am too cheap to buy a photo printer, so i print them out at work on a laserjet (quality isnt as good). and since most packaging tape is too slim to fit over a nes label, so i had to order this:

http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/store ... rea=SEARCH

it sucks i had to order 6, but you cant find that anywhere except online. if anyone want a roll for 5 bucks + shipping, i have about 3 spare rolls.

Does your The Legend of Zelda Outlands actually work on a NES (without a garbled title screen)?

by on (#13474)
well, not really. i get the title screen and as soon as i hit a button, it freezes. I am pretty sure it is the board because i tried to put glory of hercules on it first and it did the same thing...so then i tried zelda and found out it was the board. now summer is here and i have no amibiton to fix and make games.
