SHVC-2J3M-01 Repro (Solved)
by on (#157620)
I've been trying to make an 64MBit (8MB) game using 2x29F032 on the following board: SHVC-2J3M-01. The problem is, the TSOP Adapter is DIP36 but the PCB only has 32 pins for each MaskROM, so I A20,A21,A22 and Pin 36 (VCC) are floating.

Cart #46 and#48 are not available and the decoder is a MAD-R.

MAD-R is connected as follows:
Code:
ROM2 /OE |01\/16| ROM1 /OE
 RAM /CE |02  15| A13
      NC |03  14| A14
      NC |04  13| Cart #45
     +5V |05  12| Cart #47
     +5V |06  11| SNES #49
     +5V |07  10| GND
     GND |08  09| SNES #26 and RAM #26 (only in 6264)

Now how do I connect A20,A21 from both 29F032? Do I need to modify MAD-R, too?

EDIT: The donor was a Seiken Densetsu / Secret of Mana

EDIT2:Solved. Desoldered MAD-R and connected as stated in this topic:

If you're not using the MAD-R, any chance I could buy it off of you? I've been trying to get my hands on one for awhile, but none of my carts have one...

Aww, too bad. I already sold it to a friend. :(
I still have a few games here, I can check if they have a MAD-R.

EDIT: All with MAD-1. Sorry. :(
Why do you need the MAD-R I may ask?
