Dark Gimmick & Sunsoft 5A

I've recently bought a Gremlins 2 cartridge and was planning to make a Dark Gimmick of it.
So I burned and soldered the EPROMs as described and the game works, but no expansion sound.

Now my question, I've used the schematic in the attachments and I don't get any expansion sound either. Do I have to wire something to the 5A chip or is this not compatible with the AY-3-8912 chip?

Also, do I need to connect clock anywhere else or just to the 74LS74?

Any help about Sunsoft 5A + AY-3-8912 appreciated.

Don't you need a 5B, not a 5A? Oh, sorry I misunderstood. You're adding an AY-3-8910 to the mix? Hmm.

What's a "Dark" Gimmick?

No, not adding AY-3-8910 since this one is too big to fit into a regular Famicom shell. I'm using a AY-3-8912 as stated.

Dark Gimmick is a hack of Gimmick with new levels, which are alot harder.

If I had a 5B I could just add the audio circuit myself without any external ICs.

What's in the image basically ought to work. Double-check your wiring?

If you have a frequency meter, make sure you see ≈1.8MHz and ≈900kHz on the 74'74, and with a voltmeter make sure that the RESET pin on the AY-3-891x eventually floats high.

Guess I will double check my wiring. Sadly I don't have a frequency meter.

EDIT. It works now.I connected PRG A13 directly to the connector and forgot to connect Pin 3 to 5V.
