F#$% Yeah!
by on (#241626)
Hey everyone. New to the forum, but a buddy and i have started work on a game. Hoping to post here for critique and possible interests as neither of us are devs. We have developed a story, level concepts and music. At this point I am doing level and sprite graphics. All of our music and story script is done.
The game is a platformer
Will be cutscene heavy (think ninja gaiden)
movement for character is based off of shatterhand, but attacks consist of pistol, machete and slide
will post png files below for a visual and a little gif of character movement
Let us know what you think...we have thick skin...and if anyone is interested in joining project
thanks guys

Noisy dithering patterns like you've used here will look substantially different on a genuine NES, due to how it generates its video output.

I'd recommend throwing your screenshots into nes_ntsc or snes_ntsc.

Thank you very much for the input. I will definitely be addressing this and utilizing the program you referenced.

The sofas between the trash bins are looking like a town with rich street-life... I hope the game isn't making it too dangerous to sit and relax on that sofas.

Ok, now I'm really curious, if it's created on Famitracker, why are those BeepBox links? Is it possible to creat BeepBox projects from Famitracker files?

I actually wrote a small NES engine that can play tracks converted from BeepBox JSON files, but it's massively incomplete.

I’m the music man involved in this project; the music was created entirely in Beepbox and is being recreated in Famitracker for compatibility, to answer your question.
