This is an app that you can run on emulators and (hopefully) real hardware. You can configure all 25 colors while displaying them in real time. This will be useful for artists and designers.

Please test it out and tell me what you think. Do read README.txt before you start. I'm looking for feedback regarding useability mainly but there might be some bugs.

Thanks.

Questions:

The wiki says $0D may cause problems for some TVs and should not be used. What exactly happens? If I had hardware I would just try it.

The wiki says the red and green color emphasis bits of $2001 are swapped in PAL and Dendy. Is this emulated in FCEUX? Doesn’t seem to be.

Some TVs confuse it for a sync signal. This can cause the picture to flicker, jump, roll, or just go blank (if the TV blanks unrecognized signals).

Note also that the results you get from $0D on a particular TV can depend on the overall layout of the picture, so it's hard to test "what exactly happens". For example, on my TV some screens in The Immortal (uses $0D) were shaky and some were OK.

Thanks. Wow, The Immortal looks awesome! I can't believe I've never played it before and I have the ROM. Just sat and watched the demo mode for like 5 minutes!
