Mario Bros - The Revenge (ROM-hack)

Why aren't there any job-openings for NES ROM-hacking? I love this stuff, getting buried in 6502-code, trying to find out what's happening. :)
I've lost count on how many hours I've spent on this one. There's lots and lots. I'm probably nuts. Or I am now anyway.

I've alwayed loved the original "Mario Bros" for NES. I have very fond memories of long playsessions with my brother during christmas when we got it back in the 80's.
So, interested in the algorithms and technologies used in the game, I decided to create my own little hack.

Anyway, if you like this game aswell, you might like this one
* Added a short intro cutscene (sort of :))
* Game B is alot harder, for serious POWER-PLAYERS only. Two-player sessions would be totally insane. ;)
* Gathering coins is now a good idea, since collecting 25 of them gives you an extra life.
* Somewhat modified attackwaves.

You can get it here:

Because copyright owners tend to attack paid projects more than free ones. That said, Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. got official hacks in the past couple years, as did a few Virtual Console games that had used seizure-tastic backgrounds (e.g. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link) or product placement (e.g. the big Tetris ad that is Zoda's Revenge: StarTropics II).
