I had an idea for a mario like game, so i started making blocks. The bigger bricks are destroyable too, just need a different weapon for it.
Water and clouds are animated (you dont see it in a png though)

Looks pretty good. 
I think you've got a 5th palette by accident? If you made the mountains grey, they could share with the white/grey/magenta/sky palette?
Or maybe the magenta things are just sprites and never mind me.
Or... the mountain shares a palette with the water doesn't it. Aha! Cool.
