On the NES tech goodies page it's written that the SJROM board has 8kb Chr-RAM. However, I think this info is wrong, I think it supports up to 64kb Chr-ROM. Just look to at the picture here :http://www.tripoint.org/kevtris/mappers/mmc1/NES_SJROM.html
On the Chr IC, it's written NES-AI-O CHR so I think it's a ROM chip and not a RAM chip. Also, the iNES ROMs I checked uses 32kb or 64kb Chr-ROM. Additionally, if it would have Chr-RAM like said on the page, this board would be just the same as SNROM and that would be stupid.
