Lynx web browser

Hello guys! Just trying to post a message from Lynx, a command line only web browser for GNU/Linux.

The concept is extremely cool, however unfortunately not su much user-intuitive.

I like Lynx. It has a Windows version too.

I don't use it very often, mostly just to verify that webpages I'm working on are structured properly and readable as just text.

I'm trying links right now. It's true the interface is much better, but somehow it lacks colours. I guess I have to try the option.

Wow, that's interesting that the forum can be used with Lynx. Last time I used that browser must have been, maybe 22 years ago? It was the only option I had at the time, I remember the other one was Cello but running that on my old 386 PC meant every page I opened took like 5 minutes to load or respond to anything (I'm pretty sure I had less than the required amount of RAM).

Isn't there a command-line utility that show pictures using an automatic picture to ASCII art converter tool ?
And that in a web browser would be amazing.

aaview will display pictures using ASCII art. It doesn't work very well.

cacaview works better, but that's really not saying much.

OutOhMat is the best I've ever seen, in this vein. Temporal dithering really helps.

Personally, I thought w3m-img was the most impressive thing. (It kleverly draws over the X11 terminal containing w3m to display the images)
