Got back into programming. I hope this time my game doesn't get tied into a knot like my last game did.

I noticed this in another homebrew rom you did so i thought I'd ask. Why do you animate walking when something isn't moving? Do you just not have standing frames drawn? Just curious as it looks so odd.

Because the girl looks sexy that way.

just kidding

It's because I didn't program her to stop running yet.

Hmm, I can't seem to run it under any emulator. In ZSNES it displays garbage and in bsnes it displays a black screen. Am I missing something?

It runs perfectly on my computer. How old is your computer and what revision of ZSNES and bsnes is it?

The game functions on SNES9X 1.5 through 1.53. On SNES9X 1.43, it starts up, but you can't control the main character (we're looking for ability to run on hardware anyways, if I remember correctly).

I got the game to run successfully on the versions of bsnes that I had from 0.5 through 0.3.8. The reason why I didn't go earlier is... well, I had Emulator Enchancer installed, and it didn't support something that far back. I have one version earlier than 0.3.8 that I could not test.

By the way, you have successfully demonstrated the rotating sprites that you were mentioning.
