I came across this homebrew for the snes in a game jam. It's not much, but considering how little snes homebrew there is out there I figured it was worth posting.

Edit: The "Highway Racing" YouTube account that uploaded that video has a bunch of videos of video games that are messed up in the same way, not exclusive to SNES at all. I think they're just incompetent with video encoding?

Given the timeframe it was developed in (about a week) and what it was created for (BitBitJam3), the state of the game is understandable.

One of the songs (the Title Screen song) is by Kluris.

That channel gives me the creeps. At first glance it seems like a bot that copies longplay videos to its own channel with a faulty video pipeline, but check this out:

Yeah, but I just let it play in the background while I was coding. Did the trick.

And they're all "Played by: SCHLAUCHI", according to description. I've seen the same name in some videos from World of Longplays, so probably they just copied the description as well. Maybe somebody saw longplay videos getting a lot of views and decided to try to cash in on their popularity?
