Hi,
I'm in the midst of socketing my CPU/PPU for NTSC-swapping and also for preparation for RGB-mod.
The removal went smooth (only one GND on PPU was ripped, still giving signal) but when I turned on my NES the dreaded gray screen was chown (no blinking).
Tried the NTSC parts (including XTAL) but same results, which makes me believe I messed up my soldering somewhere.
I went to check the traces using the pinout on the wiki, and noticed that my D6 and D7 are circuited together. My question is, should they be?
I'm also wondering how I should check the traces for AD1 and AD2?
I might add more stupid questions to this thread, all help is appreciated!
Cheers
Tobias
