Greetings!
I am an video game programmer who is obsessed with the general birth of home console video games. I can remember being a child and loving my NES. I know video games go back a little further back in history, but the NES is where it started for me. I am stoked there exists a NES community, still! I'm very about moving my "Force Disruptor" game seres to the NES! The time period Force Disruptor is imitating is before NES, but oh well. It's imitating Atari games.
The code for my game is long gone. You see 9/10/04 I was in a car wreck that I'm a miracle to be alive from. I tried playing hero and threw off my seatbelt and then tried to grab the wheel and steer us in a different direction before the collision. I failed. I was ejected 35 feet through the windshield and then run over. They rushed me to a hospital and I was unconscious for the next 3 weeks. Amidst all of this my digital connections were lost. But I had a best friend who saved the game I was working on, only...
He saved only the executables...
And that means that you have everything that I have...
I could send you a link to the Facebook page of the individual responsible for the disappearance of code, but he doesn't like admitting that he made a mistake. He blames my mother for my code's disappearance. Oh well, forgive and forget. Although in this case I'm mostly about the forgetting.
Attached are all the remains of this game series that I think would be perfect for the NES. I'm targeting this game for the NES or earlier.
Can I get links to game coding sites that you think would help me reprogram this game?
